January 18, 2011 – In conjunction with Virginia Tech, Electric Jet received their first approved patent for premixing injector for hydrogen gas turbines. Click here to learn more.

April 13, 2010 - Matt Perry, as corresponding author of the technical paper entitled “Instrumentation, Modeling, and Testing of a Gas Turbine Engine Using Lean-Premixed Hydrogen Combustion”, has won a Certificate of Merit to recognize technical and scientific excellence. The technical paper has been named as Best Paper by the AIAA Nuclear and Future Flight Propulsion Technical Committee. Other authors include: Jordan Farina, Steve Lepera, Dr. Walter O’Brien and Dr. Uri Vandsburger.
