Company Overview

From its inception, Electric Jet, LLC, has been engaged in a funded research partnership with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University with the goal/objective of advancing the use of hydrogen as a clean, renewable fuel. The first partnered program involved research, design and construction of a gas turbine engine operating exclusively on lean-premixed hydrogen with produces no carbon emissions and ultra low NOx. That program was successfully concluded in 2009 with the award of patents in 2011 for our lean-premix nozzles. Electric Jet, LLC, believes in fostering the paradigm shift to sustainable energy resources. As a result, Electric Jet, LLC, research now encompasses the concept of a pure hydrogen/oxygen enclose engine as well as research involving super conductors in electric thrusters.
